Getting around Reggio Emilia is simple and convenient.
Whether you prefer to stroll through the streets of the historic centre, use public transport, cycle or drive, you’ll find plenty of practical ways to explore the city at your leisure.

On foot

Reggio Emilia’s historic centre is compact and on a human scale: the best way to explore it is to stroll through its squares, past its monuments and museums, and along its shopping streets.

By car

If you’re arriving by car, you can choose from a number of car parks throughout the city, including park-and-ride facilities connected to the city centre by public transport.

Before your visit, check the information on the Restricted Traffic Zones (ZTL) in the historic centre and find out where to park.

By bus

The urban and suburban public transport network allows you to reach the historic centre, the city’s neighbourhoods and the main towns in the province with ease.

To plan your journey, check timetables, buy tickets or find out about contactless payment on board, visit the SETA website.
