Piazza San Quirino
Correggio
Located in the heart of Correggio's historic centre, Piazza San Quirino was created in the second half of the 19th century on the site of the former castle moat, an area later used as vegetable gardens by the surrounding homes.
The square is framed on its northern side by elegant Neoclassical buildings, while its southern side preserves the layout of the old streets that once connected different parts of the town to the small square in front of San Quirino Church.
Today, Piazza San Quirino is a peaceful and charming corner of Correggio, perfect for a leisurely stroll and an opportunity to discover the town's rich history and architectural heritage.
