A cycling route along the Po River to discover the towns of the lower Reggio Emilia plain, to be explored by bike through historic and natural landscapes.
The route is part of the well-known EuroVelo 8, Ciclovia del Po, and VenTo (Venice–Turin) itineraries, and follows the course of the river, crossing floodplain areas and connecting the five municipalities overlooking the Po.
Along the way, it is easy to reach the historic centres of the towns involved and admire numerous natural and cultural highlights without even getting off your bike: the river “beaches”, the mouth of the Enza River, the Boretto tourist harbour, and much more.
