Fabbrico
A village where history, countryside and agricultural tradition come together amidst churches, castles and green paths.
Fabbrico is located north of Correggio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, some 27 km away.
It is an authentic village in the Reggio Emilia lowlands that combines history, nature, tradition and culture: here you can explore ancient ruins, gaze upon a medieval castle and immerse yourself in a vibrant rural setting, surrounded by vineyards and countryside.
It is also a place where local traditions, such as the production of nocino (nut liquor), remain firmly alive.
Every season is perfect for discovering Fabbrico, which changes its appearance and atmosphere all year.
Spring and autumn are ideal for walking through the countryside, experiencing the local markets and taking part in much-loved events such as Idea Verde and the traditional Festa di San Martino.
In summer, the village comes alive with outdoor events, social gatherings and tastings in the countryside, perfect for savouring local production in a relaxed atmosphere.
Winter, on the other hand, offers a slower, more authentic pace: it is the perfect time to explore the local wineries, attend the theatre season and enjoy the tranquillity of the village.
