In the heart of Rolo, the Tarsia Museum celebrates the refined art of "Rolini," the famous inlaid wood furniture that has characterized the local artisan tradition for centuries.
With displays of original furniture, historic drawings, work tools, and information panels, the museum allows visitors to discover the mastery of the inlaid woodworkers and the secrets of an art passed down from generation to generation.
An on-site library also offers the opportunity to delve deeper into this quintessential piece of Emilian artistic heritage.
Recognized as a Quality Museum by the Emilia-Romagna Region Institute for Cultural Heritage, the Marquetry Museum is a must-see for anyone wishing to learn about and admire the beauty and precision of traditional inlay work.
