Immerse yourself in a journey through time at the "C'era una volta la scuol" Museum-Workshop, a unique place where history comes to life among desks, blackboards, and notebooks of yesteryear.
Founded in 2003 within the "F. Gonzaga" Primary School, the museum offers an engaging and educational experience, designed to introduce and explore school life of the past.
The exhibition spaces recreate two historic classrooms: one from the first half of the 20th century and the other from the post-World War II era.
Here, original furnishings, teaching materials, documents, and photographs recount the daily lives of students and teachers from 1843 to 1970.

Visitors can admire pedagogical textbooks, student notebooks, end-of-year reports, archival materials, geographical and scientific maps, abacus, teachers' desks, and cabinets, in a journey that takes us from the school's small-scale history to the great national history.
Thanks to workshops and interactive activities, children, teens, and adults can relive the emotions of school life in the past, understanding how education has shaped generations and communities.
Each classroom is a bridge between past and present, where memory becomes a living, participatory experience.
