Villa Maramotti

Near the locality of Il Capriolo, in a slightly elevated and panoramic position, stands an evocative historical villa with a square plan, dating back in all probability to the 18th century. Its dominant position makes it an elegant landmark in the hilly landscape of Albinea.

Originally belonging to the Frosini family, the villa later became the property of the lawyer Alberto Maramotti, a prominent figure in local public life and mayor of Albinea between 1923 and 1925. The history of the building is therefore closely intertwined with the civic and social events of the territory.

The architectural complex is spread over three distinct levels and is characterized by an elevated tower-like section, an element that gives the whole a solemn yet functional appearance, typical of 18th-century country residences.
