Santi Giustina and Cipriano Church
Cadelbosco di Sopra
One of the oldest in the area, the Saint Justina and Saint Cyprian Church is first mentioned in 1149 as a chapel attached to San Prospero di Castello.
The present building, consecrated in 1726 and attributed to the architect Pietro Ferretti di Cavazzoli, is notable for its harmonious façade and its single-nave interior supported by twelve elegant round columns.
The atmosphere within is one of quiet sanctity, enhanced by fragments of 15th-century frescoes that bear witness to the site’s long history of devotion.
Despite the damage caused by the 1996 earthquake, the church retains its charm, and the restoration work currently underway aims to restore it to its former glory.
