The Museum hosts a unique cultural heritage made of 222 pieces, gathered in Castelnovo di Sotto because of the presence of the factory of masks (founded by Prospero Guatteri in 1810 and active until 1933), well known since the beginning of its activity for the high quality of the products realized and the skills in exporting the masks in several European Countries.
