Historical notes

The Salsapariglia Collection is a big opportunity to see motorcycles, bicycles, tractors and engines, radios and gramophones, dated from the late XIX century to the XX century, that is all the human inventions during 100 years.

In addition to the motorcycles, here are to be seen:
- 100 phonographs and gramophones from 1900
- Agricultural motors manufactured in the province of Reggio Emilia from 1900
- Other engines, also from abroad, dating back to the early decades of the XX century
- The series of Lesa tractors manufactured by Salsapariglia in the 50s/60s in Reggio Emilia
- Bicycles of 1870
- Muzzle-loading weapons from 1850 to the early XX century

The building is new and on three floors: lift and facilities for disabled are available. To visit the collection audio-video guides in italian or english are provided.
