An itinerary that brings together Reggio Emilia’s tangible and intangible heritage, exploring how theatre has always been an essential part of the city’s cultural identity.

Discover the history of Reggio Emilia’s theatrical spaces and the places that tell the story of theatre and stage design, from Palazzo del Monte to the new displays at the Civic Museums, and on to the city’s prestigious theatres, Teatro Municipale Valli and Politeama Ariosto.

At the end of the tour, if you wish, you can stay and enjoy a traditional Emilian aperitivo at a local venue in the historic city centre (€12 per person).
