A 25-km loop route through the foothills of the Apennines and the Reggio Emilia High Plain, winding through 18th-century estates, castles, and small villages nestled between the hills and the plain.
The tour begins by immediately immersing you in the atmosphere of the Reggio Emilia foothills. As you leave the town behind, the horizon opens up to reveal the foothills of the Apennines.
Along this route, the landscape is dominated by the vineyards of Lambrusco and Spergola, as well as the grapes of the Colli di Scandiano and Canossa. We are in the lands of Boiardo, and the perfect geometry of the vineyards offers a spectacle of colors that changes with the seasons: from the bright green of spring to the gold and fiery red of autumn. The return to the starting point follows flat roads, allowing you to rest your legs and enjoy the final glimpses of the historic villas that dot the area.
