About 15 km long and completely flat, the route is ideal for everyone: families, cycling tourists, and nature walkers. Right from the start, you’ll find yourself immersed in the Emilian countryside, among cultivated fields, vineyards, and rural homes, following quiet secondary roads and picturesque country lanes.
A distinctive feature of the route are the majestic rows of monumental oak trees—both English oaks and downy oaks—that line the path, creating scenes of great natural beauty and offering shade and charm along the way.
Notable points of interest include the dovecote tower in the hamlet of I Giardini and the Church of the Madonna della Neve, from which the route continues along the Secchia Canal to the hamlet of Fellegara.
The route then passes through small rural villages, such as Case Fellegara—recognizable by a distinctive tower house converted into a small castle—and alternates between short stretches on paved roads and long stretches on dirt roads immersed in the tranquility of the countryside.
