The Osteria del Viandante rests on the bastions of the historic Forte di Rubiera and is surrounded as if in an embrace by flowered terraces and ancient crenellated parapets.
Emilian cuisine is the heart of Il Viandante: fresh stuffed or seasoned pasta, balsamic vinegar, cured meats and rare cheeses, pave the way for a menu which includes fine meats, fish from the rivers of the area and very fresh fish from the Adriatic, with some pleasant escape towards international ingredients such as foie gras and caviar.
