Private Hospital Villa Verde

Villa Verde is a polyclinic private hospital in Reggio Emilia, accredited with the National Health Service.
Inaugurated in 1957 by a group of Reggio Emilia doctors to meet the citizens’ health needs, it has continuously carried out its health care activity, updating and improving its building, plant and technical health structures over time.
It offers outpatient and hospitalization/surgical services as a freelance professional (private and hospital insurance) or in agreement with the National Health Service.

In order to book in agreement, a referral from the general practitioner or specialist and the health card are required.
Alternatively, you can also book in pharmacies enabled for the service or through Cuptel (phone 800 425036) active Monday-Friday from 7.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and Saturday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The ticket, if required, must be paid directly at the facility itself.
We remind you that, before the service, it is necessary to register at the cash desks (even in case of exemption).

Structure

The Nursing Home has 166 beds for ordinary, long-term and day-hospital hospitalizations.

The units are spread over 3 floors:
1st floor: Surgery Hospitalization Unit
2nd floor: Long-Term Medicine Unit
3rd floor: Day Surgery Unit and Outpatient Day Service.

The Surgery Unit uses 4 Operating Rooms and is equipped with two "Post Operative Assistance" beds, for the treatment of the most critical patients.
There is also a room for endoscopy.
