Emergency Service – Urgency, active 24 hours a day, coordinated by the “118 Reggio Soccorso Operations Centre”.

Green Cross is an institution formed by Public Assistance and Funeral Directors, operative in Reggio Emilia and its province: health emergency, hospital transport, social services, first-aid courses, Civil Protection, always at the service of the community.

Activities

Health emergency
First aid and prompt assistance to people in health emergency situations.

Hospital transport
Support to public and private health facilities for the inter-hospital transport of patients.

Social services
Support for the mobility needs of people in situations of social and health hardship with equipped vehicles.

First-aid courses
Increase the knowledge of citizens in the management of health emergencies, promote the culture of volunteering.

Civil protection
Protect health safety conditions during collective events and disasters, in support of the Civil Protection
