The Reggio Emilia town centre, the AV Mediopadana Railway Station and the Santa Maria Hospital are more accessible thanks to the new M Minibus route, that directly connects these nerve centres of the town.

From the AV Mediopadana Railway Station you can reach the town centre with competitive travel times compared to other means of transport and at an extremely low cost. The stops in the town centre are located next to cultural venues, such as the Museums Palace, the Theatres and the San Pietro and San Domenico Cloisters, and this is an added value for visitors attracted by the monuments and museums. Furthermore, the Minibus will also stop in Piazzale Marconi, thus directly connecting the Mediopadana Railway Station with the "historic" Railway Station to finally reach the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital.

route

The route is "express" and has fewer stops than other urban transport: from the AV Mediopadana Station to the town centre, the first stop is in Piazzale Lari, which becomes a parking, near the Mapei-Città del Tricolore Stadium.
The second stop is at the Courthouse and the Makallè school complex, the third stop is at the Gasometro parking and finally the fourth stop is in Via Leopoldo Nobili, near the Museums Palace, the gateway to the town centre.
The journey then continues in Via Angelo Secchi, resuming the current service of the H route in Via Roma, Mercato Coperto Gallery, Via Emilia San Pietro, Railway Station until reaching the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital (only on weekdays). Similarly, the return journey will pass at the same stops.

FREQUEncy

Minibus M route has a 15-minute Monday-Saturday frequency, from 6.42 a,m. to 9.25 p.m.; 20-minute Sunday-and-holidays-frequency, from 7.02 a.m. to 9.07 p,.m.

On Sundays and holidays the Minibus does not reach the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital, but the run ends up at the Railway Station.

Travel time

From the AV Mediopadana Railway Station to the town centre: 14 minutes.
From the AV Mediopadana Railway Station to the Railway Station, Piazzale Marconi: 20 minutes.

ticket

The ticket costs € 1.50 and is valid 75 minutes; you can buy it at authorized retailers or directly aboard the bus with a contactless payment card. The return ticket for the same day for Minibus M is free for those who leave their car in the Piazzale Lari and Luxemburg interchange parkings and is valid only aboard the Minibus route connecting to the parking where the car has been left.
