Leave for a weekend in Reggio Emilia, the City of the Tricolor, easily reachable by train, and
let yourself be embraced by art, flavors, and Christmas atmospheres.
From December 6th to 8th, 2025, a stay designed for those who want to discover the city during a festive period.
The days will be marked by food and wine experiences, moments of relaxation, and initiatives in the heart of the historic center.
An invitation to experience the magic of Emilian Christmas.

Timetable

The stay proposal includes*:

  • Two nights in a 3-4 star hotel in Reggio Emilia in a double room with breakfast included; luggage storage after check-out; city tax.

  • A welcome dinner in a local restaurant to sample traditional Reggio Emilia dishes, including the quintessential Reggio Christmas dish: cappelletti ("Seinsa caplèt l’è mia Nadel" - "It's not Christmas without cappelletti").

  • Visit and tasting at a balsamic vinegar cellar (acetaia) of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO, to get an up-close look at an authentic masterpiece of taste, aged for at least 12 years inside wooden barrels kept in the attics of Reggio Emilia.

The entire itinerary is easily accessible by public transport, with arrival and departure by train.
As this is a tailored quote, the trip can be customized to best meet your needs.

Possibility to Add to the Stay (with supplement):

  • Friday, December 5th night (Teatri Aperti 2025 initiative) and a guided tour of the historic center and the Romolo Valli Theatre.
  • Guided tour by the REGGIO EMILIA WELCOME tourist office (IAT-R) to the Monumental Cemetery of Reggio Emilia (Sunday, December 7th at 10:30 AM, duration 2h) – reduced price.
  • Guided tour of the Maramotti Collection (free, upon request)

3-STAR HOTEL: starting from € 180.00 VAT INCLUDED per person
4-STAR HOTEL: starting from € 195.00 VAT INCLUDED per person

PRICES ARE TO BE CONSIDERED VAT INCLUDED (ART. 74 TER)
Operation for which the tax has been settled based on the Decree of the Ministry
of Finance n. 340 of 30/07/1999 and does not constitute grounds for tax deduction
under the Margin Scheme - Travel Agencies.

The quote should be considered preliminary and is subject to confirmation. Rates may vary at the time of confirmation once the availability of suppliers and offered services has been verified.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:
- Two nights' accommodation in a double room at a 3 or 4-star hotel with breakfast; city tax; luggage storage after check-out.
- Traditional dinner with a fixed three-course menu, water, coffee, and a glass of local wine.
- Guided visit and tasting at the balsamic vinegar cellar (acetaia).

THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- Transport, paid parking.
- Paid admission fees.
- Meals not mentioned or extras during meals.
- Medical/luggage insurance. Everything not expressly indicated in "THE PRICE INCLUDES."

CONFIRMATION AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT:
The tourist package is confirmed following written confirmation of the program to info@itinere.re.it.
PAYMENT:
- 30% down payment of the total amount upon confirmation.
- Balance due 7 days prior to travel (non-refundable).
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- After confirmation: a penalty of 30% of the total price will be applied.
- Cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival or in case of no-show will incur a penalty of 100% of the total price.
