Just outside the inhabited town centre of Reggio Emilia you can see the cultivated fields of fodder from the windows, it is the typical area of ​​Parmigiano-Reggiano, an undisputed cheese for its typicality; the vineyards, for the production of Lambrusco; wheat fields and orchards, apples and pears.
On the northern route, the landscape is dotted with rows of tall, dense trees: these are the "Poplars" cultivated in these particularly suitable lands.
The houses that can be seen in the countryside are built with the typical "Dead Door" traditional access point to the living and working spaces of the peasant house: on one side the stable and the barn and on the other the house.
Everyone knows the films of Peppone and Don Camillo and you will have noticed the presence, among the performers, of the Stations of Brescello and Boretto where the atmosphere is still intact today.
