The arch is on Via Pasteur (the prosecution of Via Emilia), not far from the city centre towards Modena.
Historical notes
The XVI Century triumphal arch in terracotta with unique fornix leads, through a 250 meters long avenue, to the monumental building called Mauriziano. The arch was built, according to the tradition, by Orazio Malaguzzi, who also restored and enriched the interior of the palace.
The arch was then restored twice, in 1874 and in 1933.
