The streets of the arts: crafts and traditions of Reggio Emilia

A special tour on the occasion of “I love Rez. Cibo e Gente dell'Emilia.” A guided itinerary through the historic streets of Reggio Emilia to discover the ancient arts and crafts that shaped the city's development.

Winding through historical sites dedicated to wool and silk processing alongside artisan shops still active today, the tour weaves together curiosities, stories, and testimonies from the past, bringing back to life the industrious face of Reggio Emilia and the daily routine of its workshops.

The itinerary includes visits to two artisan workshops in the historic city center.

Starting point: Reggio Emilia Welcome - Tourist Information and Welcome Office (IAT-R)

The guided tour will be conducted in Italian by a licensed tour guide.

The route is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.

Registrations can be canceled free of charge up until the departure time, upon presentation of the receipt if payment has already been made. After the departure time, refunds can no longer be requested. In case of delay, participants may ask for directions to catch up with the guide independently; if this is not possible, they will still not be entitled to a refund of the amount paid.
