Estense Reggio Emilia

Reggio Emilia was never the capital of the Este Duchy, but it always held a prominent place in the d'Este family’s attention.

Through an itinerary across the historic center and along the 18th-century promenade of Viale Umberto, the tour tells the story of the bond between the dukes and the city through residences, urban transformations, and ambitious architectural projects.

The tour will end on Viale Umberto I.

The guided tour will be conducted in Italian by a licensed tour guide.

The entire route is fully accessible to visitors with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up until the scheduled start time. If payment has already been made, please present your receipt.
After the scheduled start time, refunds can no longer be requested. In case of delay, participants may ask for directions to reach the guide independently. If this is not possible, the amount paid will not be refunded.
