Le Querce Rosse Park is a green space dedicated to sport and recreation, where equipped facilities are set within a landscape defined by alternating lawns and tree-shaded areas.

The park features several multi-purpose sports facilities, including a 5-a-side football pitch with a covered grandstand and a smaller training pitch.
Surrounded by greenery, these amenities offer an inviting setting for outdoor sports and physical activity.

At the heart of the cycle network

The park forms part of a cycle route network spanning several of the city's green spaces, linking the historic centre of Reggio Emilia with the PEEP housing district in Pieve Modolena.
This prime location integrates Le Querce Rosse into a wider network of interlinked green corridors, easily accessible by bicycle along dedicated cycle paths.

Amongst red oaks and conifers

The park's botanical collection features standalone specimen trees, tree avenues, and small groves.
A defining feature is the avenue of northern red oaks (Quercus rubra) running along the northern boundary, which gives the park its name.

Near a small grassy knoll lies a grove of Japanese pagoda trees.
Other broadleaf species across the park include hackberries, ashes, and limes, alongside various conifers such as Atlas cedars, incense cedars, Austrian pines, and Eastern white pines.
