The work can be viewed every day, with no time restrictions.

In the new roundabout in Piazza Duca d'Aosta, Marco Gerra's monumental sculpture stands out, an abstract work that captures the gaze of those traveling along the historic Via Emilia.
Standing 10 meters tall and weighing 9,000 kilograms, the work is composed of eight geometric shapes welded together and painted in orange, white, and black, creating a dynamic and engaging rhythm.

The sculpture fits harmoniously into the visual telescope of the historic straight road, becoming a new landmark of contemporary art in Reggio Emilia.
Its abstract language symbolically recalls the industrial civilization of the nearby Gardenia neighborhood and, at the same time, the cultural vocation of the city, close to the Maramotti Museum of Contemporary Art.

The Porta Santo Stefano area today presents itself as a true park-square, a place for rest and meeting.
Two sloping green flowerbeds mark the western entrance and recall the lines of the ancient bastions, creating continuity between history and modernity.

To seal the work, at the request of Annamaria Ternelli Gerra, a Latin inscription: extra cognitionem nulla saluswithout knowledge there is no salvation, a warning and an invitation to reflection in the heart of the city.
