The artwork can be viewed every day, illuminated at night as well, with no time restrictions.

Back in the heart of the historic center, a must-see stop is the Palazzo dei Musei, where art and community meet in a truly surprising way.
On the museum’s exterior façade, a work designed for everyone comes to life- always visible, like a large urban mural.
Curiosa Meravigliosa, created by artist Joan Fontcuberta, is a fascinating photomosaic made up of more than 12,000 images.
Photographs donated by the citizens of Reggio Emilia intertwine with images from the museum’s collections.
Printed on ceramic tiles, they form a majestic peacock- a symbol of beauty and shared wonder.

A collective artwork that tells the story of the city’s identity and one that, on its own, is well worth the visit.
