Villa Moratti

Elegant and private, this ancient, private Neoclassical villa represents a refined example of residential architecture between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, immersed in the Emilian rural landscape.

The building features a compact, rectangular volume spread over two levels, following the canons of sober Neoclassical elegance. On the eastern side (a levante), a harmonious portico stands out, topped by a loggia supported by fluted Ionic columns, which lend lightness and solemnity to the whole.

The western facade (a ponente) is punctuated by four pilasters that set the rhythm of the architectural composition, culminating in a central rectangular pediment—a distinctive element that enhances the building's symmetry.

Completing the complex are a farmhouse and an oratory, bearing witness to the historical link between the manor house, agricultural life, and the spiritual dimension. It is a site that tells the story of the noble countryside, where architecture, landscape, and tradition coexist in perfect balance.
